Sausages — Plain, Battered or Savaloy

Sometimes only a sausage from the chippy will do. At Ideal Fish & Chips on Birmingham Road, we fry ours in Frymax vegetable oil until golden right round — the way Terry, a third-generation fish fryer, has done it since taking the shop on in 2008. Have yours plain, or wrapped in our crisp batter — that first crackling bite is the reason battered sausage never goes out of fashion. There’s a large or a small of each from just £1.25, plus the trusty savaloy for good measure.
